Paulinia Robots Beats Sorocaba Steelers, Tacks On 3rd Straight Win
Paulinia Robots got the highest point total in the league this week and beat Sorocaba Steelers 146.44 to 114.40. Paulinia Robots has now won three straight matchups. Sorocaba Steelers was led by Mike Davis with 22.10 points (84 Rsh Yds, 27 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and Scott Miller, who scored 19.30 (83 Rec Yds, 1 TD). Paulinia Robots (3-1, 524.88 points) climbs into third place and Sorocaba Steelers (2-2, 423.28 points) steps into fourth place.
With 29 touches this week for Dalvin Cook, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.
In Week 5, Paulinia Robots plays Rio Claro Farmers (2-2, 473.76), while Sorocaba Steelers goes up against London Knights (2-2, 487.80).
Sorocaba Wild Mules Gets Win Against Limeira Guara Wolf, Moves Into Top Spot
After beating Limeira Guara Wolf (14th place, 1-3, 426.50 points) 106.58 to 99.72, Sorocaba Wild Mules (3-1, 424.28 points) takes ownership of the top spot in the league. Russell Wilson (360 Pas Yds, 2 TD/1 Int) led Sorocaba Wild Mules with 20.90 points while Ronald Jones (111 Rsh Yds) scored 18.80. Sorocaba Wild Mules took a 55.08-point lead on Sunday afternoon and held the lead throughout the matchup. This win had a taste of revenge for Sorocaba Wild Mules following a tough postseason defeat last year to Limeira Guara Wolf.
For Sorocaba Wild Mules, the Cowboys Defense wasn’t just the lone defense to earn a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the whole league to do so.
Next week, Sorocaba Wild Mules squares off against Goncalves Miners (2-2, 503.26), while Limeira Guara Wolf goes up against Amparo Bikers (1-3, 481.56).
Indaiatuba Riders Lights Up London Knights, Removes Them from 1st
Indaiatuba Riders (13th place, 1-3, 470.78 points) dumps London Knights (2-2, 487.80 points) out of first place after pummeling them 136.50 to 93.72. Odell Beckham Jr. scored three touchdowns (81 Rec Yds, 73 Rsh Yds, 2 Rec TD, 1 Rsh TD) and put up the third-highest score by a player this week with 38.40 points. Indaiatuba Riders took a 6.00-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. This beatdown was revenge for a loss to London Knights in their last meeting a season ago. On top of the loss, London Knights received no points from Calvin Ridley.
Nick Chubb probably deserved more touches for London Knights, as he put up a whopping 43 total yards on just six touches.
Indaiatuba Riders takes on Indaiatuba Blues (2-2, 459.74) in Week 5, while London Knights faces Sorocaba Steelers (2-2, 423.28).
Rio Claro Farmers Picks Up Victory over Amparo Bikers, Moves to 8th Place
Rio Claro Farmers had an excellent primetime showing with 51.68 points on Monday Night Football (36% of their total score) to get the victory over Amparo Bikers 142.18 to 110.34. The late heroics were a bit unexpected, since they were originally projected to have 39.13 points on Monday night. Rio Claro Farmers was led by Aaron Rodgers (327 Pas Yds, 4 TD). Rodgers passed for four touchdowns and provided 29.58 points to the final tally. The gap could have been wider as Rio Claro Farmers had a starter score zero points (Braxton Berrios). Rio Claro Farmers (2-2, 473.76 points) climbs into eighth place, while Amparo Bikers (1-3, 481.56 points) drops to 12th place.
Singletary had plenty of opportunities for Amparo Bikers, but could only manage 76 total yards on 23 touches.
Rio Claro Farmers gets a challenge in Week 5 when they go up against Paulinia Robots (3-1, 524.88), who averages an impressive 131.22 points per game. Amparo Bikers takes on Limeira Guara Wolf (1-3, 426.50).
Behind a Sizzling Showing from Dak Prescott, Barao Butchers Picks Up Victory over Indaiatuba Blues
With the contribution from Dak Prescott playing an integral role, Barao Butchers beat Indaiatuba Blues 138.38 to 114.80. Prescott blew up for 37.28 points in a 23.58-point win for Barao Butchers. He passed for 502 yards as part of his huge game (502 Pas Yds, 2 2PT, 4 TD/1 Int). He also recorded the third-highest point total of the season at his position. Barao Butchers (3-1, 542.10 points) climbs into second place, while Indaiatuba Blues (2-2, 459.74 points) drops to 10th place.
Drake had plenty of opportunities for Indaiatuba Blues, but could only manage 35 total yards on 13 touches.
In Week 5, Barao Butchers takes on Campinas Giants (2-2, 498.64), while Indaiatuba Blues battles Indaiatuba Riders (1-3, 470.78).
Powered by a Signature Performance from Adam Thielen, Goncalves Miners Beats Limeira Dead Rabbits
With the contribution from Adam Thielen paving the way, Goncalves Miners got a victory over Limeira Dead Rabbits 125.82 to 103.50. The Minnesota WR went off for 26.20 points in a 22.32-point victory for Goncalves Miners. In addition to Thielen (114 Rec Yds, 1 TD), Lamar Jackson (193 Pas Yds, 53 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD/1 Int, 1 Rsh TD) pitched in with 25.02 points. Goncalves Miners (2-2, 503.26 points) climbs into sixth place, while Limeira Dead Rabbits (2-2, 458.76 points) drops to 11th place.
Adrian Peterson had plenty of chances for Goncalves Miners, but he logged just 36 total yards on 11 touches.
Goncalves Miners takes on Sorocaba Wild Mules (3-1, 424.28) in Week 5, while Limeira Dead Rabbits gets Brotas Alligators (2-2, 463.62).
Brotas Alligators Picks Up Win Against Campinas Giants to Capture 9th Place
Brotas Alligators got the third-highest player point total of the season from Joe Mixon with 42.10 points (151 Rsh Yds, 30 Rec Yds, 2 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD) to get the win over Campinas Giants 122.52 to 107.14. Brotas Alligators took a 34.30-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. This win comes as revenge for Brotas Alligators following a tough postseason defeat last year to Campinas Giants. With Brandin Cooks delivering zero points for Brotas Alligators, the outcome could have been worse. Brotas Alligators (2-2, 463.62 points) climbs into ninth place and Campinas Giants (2-2, 498.64 points) drops to fifth place.
There was one player on Campinas Giants that let some chances slip through his hands. Despite being targeted seven times, Darius Slayton could manage just three catches.
In Week 5, Brotas Alligators meets Limeira Dead Rabbits (2-2, 458.76). Campinas Giants gets Barao Butchers (3-1, 542.10), who has averaged a league-leading 135.52 points this season.
